The learning pit

In Room 12 we go into the fit when we are finding learning 'hard'. We use our PRIDE values and learner heroes to help us get out of the pit.

We are learning to help each other with our learning!

Resilient - We never give up!

• "I was resilient in writing today because I found it hard to think of what I wanted to write, " said Asha.

• "I was resilient in handwriting today when we were doing the letter x, " said Zara.

Resourceful - We use different tools to help us with our learning!

• "I was resourceful in writing today because I used the word and ABC card to help me with the words and letters, " said Zac and Alexis.
  
• "I was resourceful in reading today because I used the keyboard to help me find the capital letters, " said Frankie.

Reciprocal - We listen and work together!

We worked together in teams to make the longest tower. We found out that it was important to listen as well as give our ideas.

Reflective - We think about what we are learning and how we are going to be successful!
