Maternity Leave

Our teacher is leaving this week to go on maternity leave. Her baby boy is due in a couple of weeks. We can't wait to meet him!!

The Block

We loved having Sam, Emmett and Chris come in to talk to us about their experiences on the block.

Oobleck

We loved exploring and experimenting with oobleck and discovering what happened when we mixed water, food colouring and corn flour (try it at home!)

It is a solid when you pick it up and then turns into a liquid.

We had heaps of fun putting our hands in and describing how it felt!

A big welcome to Mikaera!!

Mikaera has moved to Clevedon from Australia, we are excited to have another boy in our class.

Keeping Ourselves Safe

Constable Michelle came in to talk to us about three different kinds of touch:

• Touch we like
• Touch we don't like
• Confusing touch

We talked about telling someone we trust if someone touches our body in a way we don't like.
