Oobleck
We loved exploring and experimenting with oobleck and discovering what happened when we mixed water, food colouring and corn flour (try it at home!)
It is a solid when you pick it up and then turns into a liquid.
We had heaps of fun putting our hands in and describing how it felt!

Watercare
Today we learnt about the importance of water, making sure we do our bit to help clean our sea clean!
Stu Duval
We enjoyed listening to Stu Duval tell us a story about a book monster. The book monster had a love for books and was on the hunt for a new home. He finds a home with Mrs Overdue the librarian and lives happily ever after.
Whilst Stu tells his story he drew a picture to match the story.
He also showed us how to draw cartoons with any alphabet letter or number! He taught us a quick rhyme to help get started with cartoon drawing - S two dots a prickle and a line!

We used an egg cartoon to practise addition to ten with a buddy then we recorded our sums onto a whiteboard.
