Number Value

We are learning to recognise the value each number has.

We used different objects around the class to represent different numbers on the number line.

Dylan and Zac used the plastic tools.

Luella and Alexis used the blocks.

Zara and Asha used the die.

Janie and Sophie used the cubes.

Scooter Day

We were lucky enough to have Travelwise come and visit the junior classes.

They taught us how to be scooter safe.

We need to:

• Make sure we have our helmets on correctly
• Look both ways when we come up to a driveway and WALK with our scooter
• Look both ways and walk with our scooter when we cross at a zebra crossing.

Waste Free Wednesday

We are doing such a good job of making sure our lunches have no rubbish in them.

We use reusable bags that reseal and lunch boxes with compartments.

Imagination

Our new inquiry unit is based on the big idea "We express our imagination in a variety of ways".

We enjoyed listening to music and moving according to what our imagination was telling us.

Charly has been in India for over 8 weeks and recently returned with her new twin baby sisters. It is great to have you back and learning with us in Room 12!!
